"Wait," you say, "Ray, didn't you already write about the Arlington Reservoir?" Yes, I did. But there are actually two Arlington Reservoirs in Arlington. This is the other one.
Last week I shot Somerville's annual marshmallow fluff festival, "What the Fluff," for the Somerville Journal. See all the photos on their site at WickedLocal.
I covered Arlington's annual Town Day for Icons of Arlington. It was just as colorful as I remembered it being when I was a kid. See all the photos here.
Arlington resident Jeffrey Alexander loves astronomy so much he shares his telescope with everyone in the summer. I went to one of his stargazing events last week. Read about it on Icons of Arlington.
The Arlington Reservoir recently closed for the season. I went to the last day, where dogs are allowed in the water. I wrote about the reservoir, and a little about the dogs, on Icons of Arlington.
I've been writing about a lot of bodies of water lately. Here's my Icons of Arlington on Spy Pond.

The weather was lovely, the festival-goers were friendly, and the art was fun. Check out all my photos below, or click through to the WickedLocal article …

The evening was chaotic, and I'm not exactly proud of the United States right now, but the fireworks sure did look pretty. And it was good to finally do some press photography after a long stretch of mostly food …
I went to East Arlington's 21st annual Feast of the East for Icons of Arlington. Write-up here.
