My mom maintains a number of bird feeders, which attract the local wildlife. We get a lot of squirrels, but also a lot of dark-eyed juncos and house sparrows. The juncos are the gray-and-dun ones who look like a half-dipped Easter egg, and the house sparrows are varying shades of brown. On the flashier end of the bird spectrum, we also get cardinals and bluejays, but I haven’t gotten a good shot of one yet.
I don’t have much to say this week. I’ve still been cooking dinner for my family and my sister’s girlfriend every few nights, trying to create objects in physical space, and doing video calls with friends and Casey. The woman who runs this laundromat recognizes everyone who comes in. We don’t know each other at all, but she pays so much attention that she gave me a sock I accidentally left here over a month ago.
