Ashley and Addie, who you might remember from their engagement shoot at the Arnold Arboretum, got married at the end of this summer and I had the honor of capturing their wedding in Brewster, MA, smack in the middle of Cape Cod. Some highlights: a romantic first look on South Village Beach, a ceremony and reception at Camp Mitton (this woodsy little summer camp on a lake), and a big bonfire under the stars at the end. Congratulations Ashley and Addie — this was such a lovely start to the rest of their life together!

Public Art Event: American Therapy
This fall I had the opportunity to photograph creative activist/consultant/life coach Julie Ann Otis’ interactive installation “American Therapy Booth” while it was set up on Atlantic Wharf in downtown Boston. This was my second time working with Julie Ann — I shot her installation “Free Verse” in Union Square in Somerville, back in 2015. You…
Travel: Summer Martha’s Vineyard Trip
Three photo-a-days in one: my trip to Martha’s Vineyard with Casey and Jason! We stayed in Casey’s grandparents’ lodge, had a very belated birthday dinner for Casey, saw a movie, went to the beach… I got eaten alive by mosquitoes but it was a nice break from routine otherwise.
3Ps Production of “Red”
Here’s another play I photographed for Pen, Paint, and Pretzels. You can see some other plays I photographed for them here. “Red,” a play about Mark Rothko which only has 2 characters, was these actors’ last play at Tufts.
Photo a Day: Bike Path
Just past this graffiti, they’ve been building a retaining wall all summer. When I passed it on the last day of my internship recently, the wall was done and a restaurant had set up bicycle-themed lighting. It’s been cool seeing the facade slowly shape up all summer — it started with a patch of dirt…
Haiti in the ‘Ville for Somerville Journal
I shot not one but two events last Saturday! It was exhausting and I may have gotten a tiny bit sunburned, but they were awesome events and it was good to get so much practice. Here are some photos from the second event. They ran in the Somerville JournalĀ if you want to see them there.
