Ashley and Addie, who you might remember from their engagement shoot at the Arnold Arboretum, got married at the end of this summer and I had the honor of capturing their wedding in Brewster, MA, smack in the middle of Cape Cod. Some highlights: a romantic first look on South Village Beach, a ceremony and reception at Camp Mitton (this woodsy little summer camp on a lake), and a big bonfire under the stars at the end. Congratulations Ashley and Addie — this was such a lovely start to the rest of their life together!

Here’s part of the abandoned first draft of my PNDP final project. I was going to look at economic inequality by comparing Manchester-by-the-Sea, the wealthiest town in the North Shore, to Lynn, the poorest. That didn’t work out, but I wound up with some nice landscapes. Click the thumbnails for a better view. More PNDP…

PNDP: Forest & Road
Here’s PNDP assignment #8: to shoot 6 pictures of highways and 6 pictures of the woods. I chose to do graphically matched pairs of photos to compare the two settings. Some of the parallels are obvious; others, less so. I’d love to hear what you think about it. For this assignment, I wanted to draw…
Photo a Day: Rain in Jamaica Plain
I’m not in JP as often as I’d like, but every once in a while I make it down there. This time I was there filming performances by some local bands. It was pretty cold out that night. . .a little nicer than the 90-degree weather we’re having right now.
