Past midnight on a long, exhausted drive back from Central MA after a shoot for my LGBTQ+ tattoo photo essay, I stopped at the Fifties Diner in Chicopee.

This was my second year in a row shooting the Arlington International Film Festival. This year there was a reception for “The Typewriter Repairman” in Cambridge Typewriter, the store in which the documentary was shot.
Towards the end of the fall semester, Tufts Dining always has holiday-themed dinners. The desserts are to die for. Also, I’ve noticed that I always, always photograph the wrong end of asparagus.
