Just past this graffiti, they’ve been building a retaining wall all summer. When I passed it on the last day of my internship recently, the wall was done and a restaurant had set up bicycle-themed lighting. It’s been cool seeing the facade slowly shape up all summer — it started with a patch of dirt and now there’s an entire outdoor seating area, the aforementioned wall, and new, green grass.
