Last June I went to San Juan on a stipend from VII Photo Agency to do a documentary photography project about disability in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria. You can see/read the project elsewhere on my website. Here are some non-project photos I took while I was there, either on adventures alone …
Here are some shots from the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where we saw a great exhibit of Michael Nichols' wildlife photography. Also, there was a rainbow!
The big thrill of this day was my dad's notebook-shaped lamp / phone charger.
Right before summer break ended, I went with my family to visit my grandparents in Philly. Sunday was just a travel day.
Here are the last pictures I took of Casey before he left for L.A. He won't be back until December.
Three photo-a-days in one: my trip to Martha's Vineyard with Casey and Jason! We stayed in Casey's grandparents' lodge, had a very belated birthday dinner for Casey, saw a movie, went to the beach... I got eaten alive by mosquitoes but it was a nice break from routine otherwise.
