I covered this year's Arlington Open Studios for Icons of Arlington. It was cool getting to see the work of so many local artists and craftspeople! Check it out.
New outfit? Check. Fixed your toaster? Yup. Know where to compost your food scraps now? That's right. I covered this combination clothing swap/repair clinic put on by some local organizations over on Icons of Arlington.
Last week I shot Somerville's annual marshmallow fluff festival, "What the Fluff," for the Somerville Journal. See all the photos on their site at WickedLocal.
I covered Arlington's annual Town Day for Icons of Arlington. It was just as colorful as I remembered it being when I was a kid. See all the photos here.
Arlington resident Jeffrey Alexander loves astronomy so much he shares his telescope with everyone in the summer. I went to one of his stargazing events last week. Read about it on Icons of Arlington.
I shot not one but two events last Saturday! It was exhausting and I may have gotten a tiny bit sunburned, but they were awesome events and it was good to get so much practice. Here are some photos from the second event. They ran in the Somerville Journal if you want to see them there.
Towards the end of the fall semester, Tufts Dining always has holiday-themed dinners. The desserts are to die for. Also, I've noticed that I always, always photograph the wrong end of asparagus.
Here's another Tufts Dining event: breakfast for dinner in Carmichael Dining Center. Those blintzes are better than they look!
I love weird, scaly things, so I dragged some friends out to the Massachusetts Reptile Expo in Brockton, MA. Click through to enlarge, unless you don't like snakes, in which case close this page ASAP.
Here's some more work for Tufts Dining, this time of the annual Under the Sea event. I teamed up with Yang Lowe, a new photography intern, who styled some plates of seafood for me.
