Arkadiy and I met on Craigslist — he’d done some modeling in Russia and wanted to get some headshots and model in the US, and I wanted to practice three-point lighting, so we teamed up to take these pictures.

The Arlington Reservoir recently closed for the season. I went to the last day, where dogs are allowed in the water. I wrote about the reservoir, and a little about the dogs, on Icons of Arlington.

Tufts was still putting the finishing touches on its newest building, the Science and Technology Center, when classes started this fall. Here’s my photo of the day: some rolled sod waiting to be laid out outside SciTech by maintenance workers.
