This summer, I was a video producer for Arlington Public News out of Arlington Community Media, Inc. The show’s goal this summer was to do some remote newscasts. We finally had a successful one at the end of the summer, but this one was rained out, so we shot it in the studio. It’s exciting to work on a news set, doubly so if they’re broadcasting segments you worked on!

I shot some portraits with actress and model Alyssia Johnson for her resume. We used stand lights, but the white background is just my apartment wall and the black background is the flag side of a five-sided reflector.

Here’s what I saw and did during my 2nd week of social distancing/quarantine/whatever you’d like to call it. My family and I are all doing well and staying in the house except for grocery and TP runs, walks around the neighborhood, and to hang out on the back patio.
